Elisabeth Remy Johnson

Elisabeth Remy Johnson is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Harvard University with a double major in music and French. She has won first place in several national harp competitions. She has been the Principal Harpist for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra since 1995. Ms. Remy travels extensively performing solo harp and chamber music concerts. She can be heard on numerous ASO recordings and a recently released solo CD. Elisabeth Remy is the primary harp instructor for the Urban Youth Harp Ensemble.

Roselyn Lewis

Roselyn Lewis  is a veteran music teacher with a BS in Music Education from Hampton University, Hampton, Virginia and a MS degree from Cambridge College. Ms. Lewis has taught chorus, handbells, African drumming, and Creating Original Opera for the Atlanta Public School System. She was also the director of the Atlanta Public Schools Elementary Honor Chorus for 11 years. Ms. Lewis selects students for participation in the Urban Youth Harp Ensemble, communicates with parents, secures funding, and assists with teaching music reading skills.


Carolyn Lund

Carolyn Lund began playing the harp at age 9 in Virginia.  She has studied with 10 different teachers, and received her Master of Music degree in May from the University of Arizona under the tutelage of Carrol McLaughlin.  Ms. Lund was a winner of the Anne Adams Awards national harp competition in 2008, and was awarded a Teaching Assistant position at the University of Arizona that same year.  Carolyn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Brigham Young University in addition to a Bachelor's Degree in Harp Performance from the University of Arizona.  Ms. Lund is an avid composer/arranger of harp ensemble music, and has performed her own compositions in Holland, Belgium, Austria, Liechtenstein, and Brazil as a member of HarpFusion.  She has given solo recitals in Japan, Brazil, and throughout the United States.  She was also a featured soloist at Arizona Musicfest in 2009, and has most recently performed with the Sierra Vista Symphony, the Southern Arizona Symphony, and the Phoenix Symphony Orchestras.
